• na karmaṇām anārambhān
• naiṣkarmyaḿ puruṣo 'śnute
• na ca sannyasanād eva
• siddhiḿ samadhigacchati

Translation

Not by merely abstaining from work can one achieve freedom from reaction, nor by renunciation alone can one attain perfection.
